Track Warrant Control (TWC) & Direct Traffic Control (DTC)
RailComm provides non-signaled territory dispatching under the GCOR, CROR and NORAC rule sets. Full conflict checking, automatic completion of warrants, train sheets, forms and bulletins, temporary speed restrictions and Track Out Of Service alert capabilities are all part of this module, making this the dark territory dispatch system with the highest level of computer functionality available in the industry today.
Digital Track Warrant
Digital data exchange for field personnel that increases crews’ and dispatchers’ productivity. This application eliminates the need for voice communications and paper forms that can be a source for human errors. All field activities are performed via the Mobile Worker’s web-based user interface that can be accessed via portable devices with internet access.
Positive Train Control (PTC) – E-ATC
Positive Train Control (PTC) is an FRA regulation to enforce the 2008 Rail Safety Improvement Act to prevent safety hazards including train-to-train collisions, derailments caused by excessive speed, unauthorized incursions into work zones, and movement through a track switch left in the wrong position. RailComm has implemented an FRA type approved office segment of one of the FRA approved PTC Types, Enhanced Automatic Train Control (E-ATC).
