RailComm DOC® System in Production Service on Ferrosur Railroad November 26, 2007 -- RailComm, Inc. has successfully commissioned a Track Warrant Control System for Ferrocarril del Sureste (Ferrosur) Railroad, which serves the south-eastern regions of Mexico. Ferrosur is using RailComm’s Domain Operations Controller (DOC®) PC-based platform to dispatch over 1400 kilometers from seven workstations. The primary dispatch center is located in Veracruz, Mexico, with the Mexico City location set up as a disaster recovery site. The DOC®:TWC application provides features such as redundant server failover, Railroad Manager™, graphical playback, and bilingual capabilities. The Railroad Manager™ tool allows management of resources, such as crew personnel, engines, cars, and trains, while graphical playback reproduces all events for viewing at a later date. The system can be toggled between Spanish and English, with the Spanish language included in all track warrant and track bulletin forms, as well as in the Graphical User Interface.
