RailComm Ships 27th DOC® Yard Automation System For Immediate Release October 3, 2005 -- RailComm, Inc. announces it has shipped its 27th DOC® yard automation system. The RailComm system will control multiple derails within the BNSF Railway’s Glendive, Montana yard. BNSF selected RailComm’s Domain Operations Controller (DOC®), a server-based control system, to provide a highly reliable platform to support future switch point automation at Glendive. A point-to-multipoint wireless data radio communication network was established utilizing RailComm’s RADiANT™ Data Radio technology. RADiANT™ was selected for its ease in operation and extremely low maintenance requirement.
