RailComm Awarded Contract for
New Jersey Transit Service and Inspection Control System 

September 7, 2006 – RailComm has been selected to provide New Jersey Transit with the Interlocked Service and Inspection Control system at the New Jersey Transit, Morrisville Yard. This DOC:SCADATM remote control system will be part of a $113 million expansion project for housing and servicing existing Trenton-New York trains.

The RailComm DOC:SCADATM control system enables interlocking control of devices along two elevated inspection tracks within the fully enclosed NJ Transit Morrisville S&I facility. Remote Control of Catenary Power, Mobile Gantries, Facility Doors, Derails, Alarms, etc. will be provided through two touchscreen Human-Machine-Interface (HMIs).
