RailComm installs CTC System
at Saginaw Bay Southern Railway 

August 7, 2006 -- RailComm, Inc. has successfully completed the installation of a Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) system for the Saginaw Bay Southern Railway, owned by Lake State Railroad in Saginaw, Michigan. The Saginaw Bay Southern Railway was acquired by Lake State Railroad from CSX. RailComm successfully designed, installed, and cutover the DOC® dispatch system within 30 days from the receipt of the order.


RailComm’s DOC®:CTC is a next generation computer-aided dispatching system used to centrally control signal systems and interlockings. The DOC® (Domain Operations Controller) software-based control system is currently installed in dozens of railroad control applications. DOC® is an advanced command, control, communications and information (C3i) server-based platform that supports a wide variety of integrated solutions for indication, control, access and distribution of critical operational data across the railroad enterprise.
