RailComm to Provide
Ferrosur with Computer Aided Dispatch System For Immediate Release FAIRPORT, NY – RailComm, Inc. announced today it has signed a contract with the Mexican freight railroad Ferrosur, S.A. de C.V., to provide Ferrosur with a state-of-the-art Computer Aided Dispatch System. RailComm has entered into an agreement to provide Ferrosur with RailComm’s DOC® (Domain Operations Controller) technology for the dispatch and train management of Ferrosur’s entire 1400 kM rail system. Two redundant servers will be configured with automatic failover to support a six-workstation control center located in Veracruz, Mexico. Ferrosur will also have access to the system from their Mexico City offices. The full-featured DOC® system will be operational by the end of the summer, 2005.
