RADiANT Data Radios with Integrated Antenna

• RADiANT™ is a license-free data radio integrated with a high gain antenna packaged together in an outdoor-rated enclosure.

• There is absolutely no requirement to connect the RailComm RADiANT™ to an external antenna or any RF cable, which translates into lower maintenance costs and longer communication distances.

• Overall package is outdoor-rated and operates over an extended temperature range. It features ground isolation on all power supply and data port connections and is optimized for industrial applications.

• The system provides error-free communications over 20 miles at sustained data rates over 19.2Kbits/second.

Switch Position Annunciator

• The Switch Position Annunciator uses radio technology to communicate critical switch position information, well in advance of the point.

• With built in diagnostics, your maintenance personnel have all of the data they need before going out to the field.

• Each heater element is monitored by the system and logged to a file. When an element failure is detected, it can be alarmed and serviced before it affects train movement.

• Dual Mode Interrogation: interrogate switch through standard DTMF tones from railroad walkie-talkies and/or by RailComm RADiANT™ data radio

• Announces position over voice radio (similar to Hot Box Detector operation) and/or displays switch status on PDA/laptop connected to the on-board RailComm RADiANT™

Switch Position Indicators

• Switch Position Indicator is a lightweight versatile device used for displaying stop and clear aspects, route indications and switch positions in all rail yard applications.

• An optional dimmer is available to automatically change the brightness between day and night operations.

• The signal is available in a bi-directional configuration for indicating switch point position.
