Yard Control System Software

  • Computer Aided Dispatching system uses proven hardware and software tools to control field devices and route trains within a yard.
  • Users can easily plan end-to-end switching moves and align switches from a PC located in the Yard Master's office.
  • Scalable from single workstation up to a fully redundant client server system supporting multiple dispatchers.
  • System supports multiple communications protocols and methods (serial, modem, Modbus, IP) for communicating with field devices.

Customized Field Control Panels

  • Railroad-ready control panel uses green, amber, and red LED lamps to represent the status of all switches controlled by the panel.
  • Operator pushes buttons associated with each switch to command the desired alignment. The push-button control initiates a series of wireless commands to the correct switches, which move them into the commanded position.
  • No dispatcher required.
  • Eliminates hand throws.
  • Control the entire yard from one or several locations on the lead.
